Aeration and dearation valve for MF filters

Producer

When operating a pressure booster or reverse osmosis system downstream of a filter, there is a risk that vacuum (absolute pressure < 1 bar) may develop in the pressure tank of the filter. This can lead to its implosion. To avoid this, we recommend the use of a BEV aeration and deaeration valve. The valve should be installed on site in the outgoing product water line. It must be located close to the pressure tank at a higher installation point.

Benefits

  • Provides extra safety for pressure tanks
  • Easy mounting

Applications

  • Suitable for filter series MF
  • Protection of a filter operating upstream of a pressure booster or reverse osmosis system from negative pressure or implosion of the pressure tank

Operating temperature:
1 – 65 °C
Conditions of use:
If there is no aeration and dearation valve, the warranty will be void in the event of a vacuum causing the pressure tank to rupture.
